Biggy237 is a talent driven initiative aimed at nurturing talents and inspiring hope in young Cameroonians. The Show which is in its maiden edition is open to all Cameroonians who are 21- years and above within the country .Expressions of persons are allowed in both English and French . The Project was First introduced as a pilot project named Bigg Broda Ndop by a community based group popularly known as We Love Ndop (WLN). Bigg Broda Ndop pilot project was limited only to applicants originating from Ndop, Ngoketunjia Division in the NW Region. Biggy237 season 1 is extended to all Cameroonians.
Application Process
To participate in Biggy237, applicants are encourage to visit www.biggy237.com and on the menu bar, click the drop down menu and select Biggy Forms where they will be able to download the application form. Completed application form, a full/portrait picture and a 30 seconds video explaining the applicant’s reasons or interest in participating in the Biggy237 reality show must be sent to info@biggy237.com. Application process closes in October 2019.
Screening process
All received applications will be screened by a Biggy panel. Candidates that meet the requirements will be profiled on our website. To get the public to participate in the selection process of successful candidates, the public will be given the opportunity to vote the applicants they want to see in the competition via sms for a period of time. Contestants with the highest votes will be voted into the competition.
The Show
The show is divided into two phases. Phase one is the task phase. During phase one, biggy will assign weekly task to contestants. Contestants will have to complete the tasks in their various locations/cities and submit on a date determined by Biggy. Each task shall be submitted in a 30 seconds video. Any video longer than 30 seconds shall be disqualified. Points shall be accumulated and after a month of task, contestants with the lowest points shall be eliminated. Once only 20 contestants are left in the competition, the show shall move to phase 2.
Phase2 of the show will see the surviving contestants moved into Biggy’s house. Contestants will be informed of the location of the show before the start of the show. In Phase 2 there shall be no evictions. Contestants will continue to accumulate points based on activities assigned to housemates by Biggy on a daily basis. The contestant with the highest public vote wins the maiden edition.
Winning Price
The winning price will be determined once all sponsorship and partnership agreements have been signed. The price will be made public before the start of the competition. The price will comprise cash, goods, trips/vacation and a production/talent sponsorship contract.
