Lots of people apparently didn’t comprend the objective behind X-Maleya’s song ‘Your Daughter is not your wife’.
Many people said X-Maleya is promoting child abuse and incest. They have finally revealed the main objective behind tbeir song.
According to these artists, their song was to rebuke incest and educate men who get lust over their daughters to stop for it isn’t morally accepted before God and before man.
In an interview, here is the reason they advanced for singing that song of theirs.
You know, three weeks ago, a 14-year-old girl committed suicide in Bertoua because she got pregnant for her father. It is this type of situation that must shock us. Society suffers from many ills. Rape is one of those scourges. We put that on the table. One of our neighbors, aged 12, was raped. It was a real shock for us .
We felt challenged by this situation of violence against the girl. While researching the subject, we learned with horror and without exaggeration that out of 100 girls at least 70 have been victims of either rape or rape.
