Samuel Eto’o to help over 100, 000 Cameroonians due to #coronavirus.

Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o has pledged to distribute supplies(to assist people protect themselves from Covid 19)to 100,000 people in Cameroon through his foundation.

Samuel Eto’o, who has enjoyed a distinguished playing career, including many successful seasons in Spain, said this decision will give priority to people in the cities of Douala, Buea, Yaoundé and Bafoussam.

It is said that soaps, disinfectants and several food items will be sent to 50,000 homes in these four cities while 50,000 protective masks will be given to front-line workers, including taxi drivers.

This decision will also give priority to footballers, with a thousand footballers from the 44 male and female football teams of the African nation who will benefit.

“This is a serious humanitarian crisis and it is only thanks to adequate disinfection and the distribution of health kits that we will be able to curb the coronavirus,” reads a statement from the Samuel Eto Foundation.
