Daughter of Indian billionaire, Anand Burman marries black man.

The heiress of a wealthy Indian family chose to marry a man of African descent contrary to their tradition.

This has never been seen before in high class Indians. Anisha Burman, daughter of Anand Burman, one of the richest men in India with a fortune estimated at 5.8 billion dollars (around 3000 billion FCFA), has just said “yes” to Leslie Mwambazi, a man of African origin.

Anisha Burman is the great-granddaughter of the founder of Dabur, the largest consumer goods company in India. The couple; Leslie Mwambazi and Anisha Burman met in London where they both lived for over 20 years and founded their own business.

On the side of the bride’s family, the event apparently passed like a letter in the mail and Leslie Mwambazi has a good relationship with her family.

Afriblinkers, this is a real revolution that brings us a little closer to globalization as very often described. Proof that racism is a barrier that will gradually disappear over time. Long live the newlyweds!
