Westham midfielder, Michail Antonio scored his team’s four goals as Norwich dropped out of the Premier League after a 4-0 loss at Carrow Road.
The result saw Daniel Farke’s team become the first team to lose their first division status this season and gave the Hammers their own chances of survival and a huge boost. Norwich was already six points behind the table before the coronavirus pandemic, and their form since the restart has worsened. Five successive league losses followed.
Antonio’s two goals in the first half ended Norwich’s already slim hopes for survival, but West Ham’s emphatic victory was sealed when he struck twice in the second period to become the Hammers’ first player to score four goals in a Premier League match.
