Biography of Minks – Cameroonian rapper.

Born on 19 August 1990, Minks is positioned today as one of those in the Cameroonian rap future.

In 2008 then a student at the Laureates College, Minkada Franck Stéphane began to write texts in Bonamoussadi, Douala with some neighbours and childhood friends all fans of youssoupha, Kanye West and Jay z.

A real kicker, he decided to compete with others by participating brilliantly in several rap competitions and projects such as mboa come test, NSC3, AKDMY, MTN make the music and in the end Cameroon Hip Hop Talent search which gave him greater chances.

He is signed under the Ach4life label, and worked with Achille Djoumsie, manager of several artists including Duc-z, the Cameroonian rnb star.

Minks takes his inspiration from the facts of society and describes with humour what is going on around him. He is one of the forerunners of the Cameroonian trap music with a new wave of talented artists.

He swtiches his moods on his songs. He could be at the same time a comedian, serious, happy and melancholy.

It is difficult to discograph in a style. His very audible voice, his writing and his ease on stage allowed him to make a place for himself among the greatest.
