Kameni is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter and performer born on 9th March 1993. She grew up in the town of Limbe in the South West region of Cameroon.

Kameni  did her secondary school studies at the Lycée Bilingue, and her higher education at the Higher Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) in Buea, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Due to her love for music, she joined the choir at a tender age, was in the school choir at the primary & secondary level. At college, her vocals started improving when she met Cameroonian singer Blaise B who became her music coach.

While at the university, Kameni got to meet other talented Cameroonian artistes like Mr Leo, Daphne, Rythmz, Ko-C, Gomez, Tzy Panchak just to name a few.

She took her first step into the music music at the age of 14 through videos, interpretations and freestyles, which she posted on her Facebook page and on YouTube.

She became known in 2019 through the video of her freestyle Mashup in which she covers songs from artists such as Locko, Teni and Burna boy.

The video had about 30,000 views in a month. Kameni then signed with Label Mate Gomez and released her first single titled Boss, then a second titled Nayo nayo which got her Nation wide likewise international fans as it registered great success.

A few months later, she returned with a collaboration with her mentor Mr Leo on the song Lover. Her very first EP titled Love & Hustle was released in July 2020.Love & Hustle is a 6 track project featuring the songs Ghetto, Tombé and Sweet Mama.

Kameni’s love for music started when she watched her father play instruments. Her father was a musician, mother farmer while she a hustler.

Right now, Kameni is one of the best Cameroonian singers. She even won the best female artiste overall 2020 Cameroon at the Balafon Award. This just being one of her Awards. As of 2022, Kameni is no longer signed under Lionn Production.
