Manchester United was very scared during their third Champions League match on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Opposed to the Italian team of Atalanta Bergamo, the Red Devils had to work to turn things around after a match that they had started very painfully.

The English club was quickly led to the score on their turf after Atalanta Bergamo opened the scoring in the 15th minute thanks to Pasalic (0-1). The Italians drive home the point a few minutes later thanks to Demiral (0-2, 28th).

When they got back from the locker room, the reaction was not long in coming. Marcus Rashford was the first to stand out to reduce the score (1-2, 53rd), before Harry Maguire followed suit for the equalizer (2-2, 75th). Cristiano Ronaldo ended the match with a header in the 81st minute.

Manchester United won 3-2 and put in a good performance in the standings, taking the lead of Group F alone.
