Samuel Eto’o has just submitted his candidacy for the presidency of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) this Wednesday at the headquarters of the federation, located in Tsinga, Yaoundé.

Fecafoot headquarters have been in turmoil for a few minutes with the arrival of Samuel Eto’o Fils as part of his candidacy for the post of president of the Cameroonian football governing body. After announcing his candidacy on September 21, the former captain of the Indomitable Lions made it official on November 17 by submitting his application to the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) in Tsinga (Yaoundé).

Samuel Eto’o is the first candidate to announce the filing of his file. He will likely be followed by other candidates in the coming days. The deadline for submitting applications is set for November 18 according to the texts of Fecafoot. One of his potential challengers is said to be the current interim president of Fecafoot, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, who has yet to stand for election.
