“Dear Cameroonians,
Iβm short of words and Iβm still trying to come to terms with everything that happened yesterday. My biggest fear became a reality when I had a vital responsibility towards my beloved motherland and I sadly dashed the hopes of more than 26 million Cameroonians, home and abroad. It wasnβt my intention and I sincerely apologize for that.
They say disappointment is the nurse of wisdom and through this disappointment has come opportunities for me to learn how to become a better player and person. I have also taken time to read every feedback in good faith and will work tirelessly to become the best version of myself.
I love this country with all my heart, and will always defend it to the best of my ability.
