Edgar Leroy, Nigerian based Cameroonian Filmmaker Who Won An AMVCA (African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award ) as Best Indigenous Movie in the Yoruba category has unfortunately passed away.

He died in an accident on his way to Ibadan , Oyo state from Lagos for a movie shoot.

The movie maker who was celebrated not too long got into a ghastly motor accident on Lagos Ibadan express way, specially at Shagamu where he died on the spot.

It is reported that he was the lone person to die in the Song Lagos Ibadan Expressway.

Edgar was to turn 27 on July 13th. He was born in 1995 and earned respect of the mass with his high skills on directing, editing and motion graphics.

According to sources close to him, he revealed that he had a lot of plans on taking the Cameroon movie industry to the next level.
